On May 1 our Calligraphy Club had a special showing of one of the magnificent facsimiles of the Saint John's Bible acquired by St. Mary's University College. This masterpiece of calligraphy and artwork has taken 9 years to complete. It is one of seven volumes and is the first handwritten and illuminated Bible in more than 500 years.
