FLC Seniors Pool

Are you interested in playing Pool?

All SKILL levels are welcome

As of March 1, 2022 the Alberta Government launched Step 2 of its re-opening plan. Proof of vaccination is no longer required and indoor masking is now on a voluntary basis.

The league will run during the winter months starting the week after the final golf tournament in September and end mid April when golf starts up again.  Our group ranges from those who have never played before, some who only played pool when they were in High School, and a few who play in leagues.  We are a mixed group of men and women.  If you are a beginner we can arrange basic lessons.  Please contact us for more information.

The format for play is a team based competition called scotch doubles which is very conducive to conversations during the game.  Each team consists of two players who take turns shooting.  Sometimes we spend more time talking than playing, but we are social bunch so that is to be expected.

  • We play once per week at Chill #134 - 13226 Macleod Trail SE (next to Canyon Meadows theatres)
  • Teams will be determined each week and you will have a new partner each week
  • We start at 1 pm on Tuesdays
  • We play for 2 hours at a cost of $10 per person
  • You will need a current FLC Seniors Club membership
  • Season end date for 2022 is April 12th
