FLC Seniors Acting Club

June 23 and June 24

The FLC Seniors Acting Lab is under the umbrella of the FLC Seniors Club, which currently offers an opportunity for Calgarians in the 55 plus category to get involved in a variety of activities.

The Seniors Acting Lab is just finishing its second season of offering affordable acting lessons in Improvisation; Acting Basics and Playing with Shakespeare. We are growing in numbers and are looking forward to adding a more advanced level of classes in the 2018/2019 Season. These productions are our first attempt as a group to offer up what we have learned to the public.

FLC Seniors Acting Lab is pleased to present two independent, yet related plays about seniors making their way in today’s rapidly changing modern world.

First Act:
See Me”
In an interview format, through question and answers, this original play explores what makes today’s seniors feel visible and invisible while gently touching on issues of outdated stereotyping and ageism.

Directed and written by Megan Fox
