FLC Seniors Acting Club - Seniors Play Fest

June 8 to 11, 2022

FLC Seniors Acting Club is pleased to present two one-act plays on the challenges that single people face when seeking relationships in their later years. Using humor, entertaining dialogue and action, these plays showcase the resilience, creative ingenuity and determination of people of all ages to connect with others. Performances will be held during Seniors Week from June 8th to 11th in the lower level of Knox United Church (506 - 4th St. S.W) with the generous support of Calgary FLC Seniors, Calgary Foundation, Urban Stories Theatre and Knox United Church. Details are as follows:

	Cornbread and Beans written by Earl Reimer and directed by Mya Hands. Two seniors, who hire a dating service, meet in a restaurant for the first time. See the sparks fly…

	Lollipop Anyone? written by Carolyn Wright-Stronski, dramaturgy by Trevor Rueger and directed by Helen Young. Seniors in a retirement residence resort to some ingenious tactics to form relationships with other single seniors.
