The route starts at Pearce Estate Park, follows the Bow and Elbow River pathways, circles around the Glenmore Reservoir, and returns by a different route through the communities of Altadore and Elbow Park. Lunch is at the Railway Café in Heritage Park, at the west end of the Glenmore Reservoir. Approximately 1 km away from the end of the ride we stop at an ice cream store in Inglewood. You might try their amazing pineapple flavored soft ice cream.
The ride will have regrouping at intervals. Bring lunch to eat outside if you prefer. Bring your route tracking device for more enjoyment, and the possibility of leading this ride or a good variant next year.
Location: Pearce Estate Park, otherwise known as the Sam Livingston Fish Hatchery. Directions: Entrance is off 17 Ave. SE on the north side. 17 Ave SE can be approached along 9 Ave from the west, Blackfoot Trail from the south, and Deerfoot Trail from the east.
