Note Time Change: Aim to be at Mallard Point at 9:00. In an attempt to minimize riding in the worst heat we will leave as soon as everyone has arrived and is ready to go, absolutely no later than 9:30. We will cycle from Mallard Point through Carburn Park and Beaver Dam Flats. We will then head north on the canal pathway, turning off near Inglewood Golf Course to head up to Valleyview Park. We will have lunch at the park and return south along the canal to Glenmore Trail. We will travel along the pathway parallel to Glenmore to 18th Street where we will turn south through Riverbend to get back to the river pathway and on to Mallard Point. There are two hills on the way out but otherwise the route is primarily flat and almost totally on pathways. We will cross a couple of busy streets but always with lights.
Total distance is about 31 km.

Pathway and Road Rules and Etiquette - Ride single file on right side of pathway. Get off pathway when stopped. Be on the lookout for pedestrians, other cyclists and cars. Safety takes precedence!
Meeting Location: Mallard Point. Go east on Canyon Meadows Drive to the end of the road and then follow the access road into Fish Creek Park. The parking lot is at the end on your left.
