From the 69 Street C train station head north then west on Old Banff Coach Road (very quiet due to Highway 1 bridge closure). Great mountain / foothill views. Detour into Artist's Way to view expensive real estate. Short and straight eastbound leg on Highway 1 wide shoulders to Valley Ridge. Baker Park, Bowness and Shouldice Park for a short break before we climb to Market Mall. One walkable 2 block long steep section on Home Road if you don't have low enough gears. East to University, Confederation Park and though "little Italy" with a rest stop at Lina's. Nose Creek Pathway southbound to new zoo bridge in Inglewood then to City Hall Train station where ride ends. If you want to go further south that can be arranged
I rode this on Saturday and it was delightful. High visibility clothing always a good idea on roads. Better to be seen too soon than too late.
Cheap Saturday parking downtown if you want.
