This ride will depart from the Ranche in Fish Creek.
We will ride south to Wolf Willow and then climb the hill to Chaparral, then ride through the communities of Walden and Legacy (mostly along the ridge).
We will cross Macleod Trail at 210 Ave SE. From there will be exploring Belmont, Yorkville and Silverado before crossing the Ring Road at Sheriff King Street.
We will visit Somerset, Bridlewood and Evergreen on our way to Fish Creek, then back to the Ranche.
We will have bathroom breaks at Sobeys in Legacy and the Silverado Sobeys.
Lunch location: Silver Spruce Playground
Most of this ride will be on community bike paths with some city roads to connect between communities.
This ride distance will be approximately 40 kms, with 150m of elevation gain.
Come prepared: bring your helmet, lunch, water, and any bike repair items you may need.
