Meet at Votier's Flats Parking Lot about 9:45 A.M and be prepared to leave by 10:00 A.M.
Our ride will take us through Fish Creek Park to the Ranche with a stop at Annie's for coffee. This will be an informative ride with many stops. We will see where once there was a race track in Fish Creek, as well as the first industry in Calgary. We will also stop near Hidden Beach, where tanning and swimming sans clothing is available. Following, we will take a brief stop where once there was a formal blue heron colony. Then we'll have lots to talk about before returning to our starting place. We'll lunch at the Votier's Flats picnic tables. Total distance is ~15 km at a leisurely pace of ~15km/hr. The ride is on the paved pathway which is mostly flat with rolling dips.
Please pack a lunch, water, your helmet, a spare tire tube, charged e-bike battery, and dress appropriately for the weather.
