This ride will depart from the Carburn Park.
We will ride east by Riverbend to the Irrigation Canel.
Will follow the Irrigation Canal to 84th Steet which will take us to Ralph Klein Park for a rest and bathroom breaks.
From there will ride the Wetlands Path to Copperfield. We will cross over the Ring Road into Mahogany where we will have lunch at the Mahogany Central Green Playground.
After lunch we will explore the new communities south of the South Health Campus before crossing over Deerfoot into Cranston and follow the Cranston Ridge, overlooking the Blue Devil Golf Course and the river.
We will then ride the Mountain Park ridge on the east side of the river back Carburn
We will have bathroom breaks at Ralph Klein Park and Sobeys in Mahogany.
Most of this ride will be on community bike paths with some city roads to connect between communities.
This ride distance will be approximately 60 kms, with 338m of elevation gain.
Come prepared: bring your helmet, lunch, water, and any bike repair items you may need.
