Ride Signup begins on August 21, 2025 @ 8:00 am.
The ride will start from Ralph Klein Park parking lot heading north past Shepard then following the canal pathway east to explore pathways in & around Chestermere Lake for about 19km and then returning to Ralph Klein Park via the canal pathway. Lunch will be lakeside. Most say that typically there is wind against you in both directions along the canal but let's hope for calm weather.
Please arrive at the Ralph Klein parking lot by 9:40am. This should give is us time to get ready, review the rules and meet the other riders. As there are limited locations for washrooms initially, before leaving, we will stop briefly at Ralph Klein Park to use the facilities. Please check the ride details prior to 8 am the day of the ride for any changes or cancellations. If you need to drop out, please do so before 8 am on the morning of the ride.

As usual, please come prepared with your bike in good working order, your helmet, bike bell, lunch, water, emergency information, sun glasses, spare tube, tire pump, band aids etc. Ideally each rider also has a mirror and speedometer.
Driving instructions to Ralph Klein Park:
Via Stoney trail, exit at 114 Ave SE and head east to 84 Street SE turn right at the lights and head south on 84 Street and turn left (east) towards Ralph Klein Park.
Via Deerfoot Trail, exit on Barlow Trail (north towards the Deerfoot Casino) and head north to 114 Ave SE, then turn right and head east on 114 Av SE to 84 Street SE, then turn right at the lights and head south on 84 St and then turn left (east) towards Ralph Klein Park.
