Ride will start in west end of Fish Creek at Shannon Terrace.
Access to Shannon Terrace is via 130 Avenue SW, turning onto Woodpath Road to Shannon Terrace Parking Lot.
Ride will start at Shannon Terrace parking lot. We will cycle east through Fish Creek Park to Bebo Grove and Votier's Flats, proceeding into Canyon Meadows riding on the sidewalk, crossing Macleod Trail connecting to Parkland pathway. Riding along the pathway making a brief stop at the Pollination display. Following pathway to descend into Fish Creek Park by Annie's Cafe/Bow Valley Ranch Visitor's Centre. Continuing on pathway around Sikome Lake crossing under the new Stoney Trial bridge to the pathway around Chaparral Valley to Blue Devil Golf Course in Wolf Willow and returning through Lafarge Meadows to Hull's Wood in fish Creek Park where we stop for lunch. Returning to Shannon Terrace via Fish Creek pathway through Glenfield Area, under Macleod Trail back through Votier's Flats, Bebo Grove to Shannon Terrace.
Bathrooms located at: Shannon Terrace, Bebo Grove, Votier's Flats, Bow Valley Ranch, Hull's Wood.
Ride is relatively flat with a few minor hills that can be walked.
Arrive at Shannon Terrace Point by 9:45 a.m. to have your bike ready and meet some of your fellow cyclists. We will depart at 10:00 sharp.
Please Come prepared with your helmet, water, lunch/snack, emergency information, sun glasses and sun screen. Please wear warm clothing if forecast calls for cooler weather. Be sure your bike is in good working order. A bike bell is required and a mirror is a bonus. Check your email and/or the bike write-up after 8 am on the day of the ride for possible changes. if the ride is cancelled, email notifications are sent to all riders who have signed up
