Cycling Ride

Join us for an easy paced ride from the Pearce Estate Parking Lot to Edworthy Park

This beautiful river route encompassing 25 km will traverse the pathway alongside the Bow River on a relatively flat course, with public washroom stops at Angels near Edworthy Bridge or at Edworthy Park. 

Lunch can be eaten at picnic tables on the south side of the Edworthy Bridge or riders can grab a quick snack at Angels.

A stop at Harvey passage on the first leg of the ride might offer an opportunity to see river surfing. 

There are usually many opportunities to see birds including osprey and nesting geese along the route.

RIDERS:

Come prepared: Arrive 15 to 20 minutes before departure, to prepare for your ride!

Bring your helmet, lunch, water, emergency information, sun glasses, sunscreen

Be sure your bike is in good working order: bike bell, tires pumped, brakes and gears working, clean chain, mirror is a bonus.

If you are signed up and find you have to cancel, just put your FLC number in again and click cancel.  

If you are on the waiting list check, please check the rider list before the ride to see if a cancellation has resulted in your name being added to the rider list. 

If the ride is cancelled you will receive an email notice by 8 a.m. the day of the ride. The website    will also show the ride as CANCELLED.
