This AdHoc ride has been created to give more L2 riders the option to ride in smaller groups.
AD HOC L2 Ralph Klein Park to Chestermere 42k
Come join Laurie and Hazel on another adventure. We have planned a flat 42k Chestermere Tour starting at Ralph Klein Park. We will be exploring Centennial Park, and 3 water features north of Highway 1A before crossing and cycling through Trennen Park, Rainbow Falls Park and one other pond.
Arrive by 9:10 a.m. to have your bike ready and meet some of your fellow cyclists, to be ready to depart at 9:30 am.
Please use Laurie's home number 403-278-5645 up until 8:30 a.m. on the day of the ride and Laurie's cell 403-608-5645 if its after 8:30 a.m.
RIDERS:
Come prepared: bring your helmet, lunch, water, emergency information, sun glasses, sun screen, spare tires, tire pump, band-aids, and your smile. Be sure your bike is in good working order: bike bell, tires pumped, brakes and gears working, clean chain, mirror is a bonus.
Recheck the ride writeup after 8 am the day of the Ride for possible ride cancellations or other changes. If the ride is cancelled, email notifications are sent to all riders signed up for the Ride.
Driving Directions to Ralph Klein Park - Drive east on 114th Avenue SE to dead end at 84 St SE. Turn right and proceed to entrance to Ralph Klein Park on your left. Proceed to Building and turn left into parking lot by fruit orchard. Note - the following roads intersect with 114 Ave SE: 24 St SE, Barlow Trail SE, 52 ST SE and Stony Tr SE (Washrooms)
