Tour of High River
Ride signups will open on July 27th @ 8 am
This ride will take in all of High River. We will be starting from the High River Co-op (east side parking lot) at 10:00 am. Arrive by 9:45 am to check in and meet the other cyclists.
Starting at the Co-op we will tour through residential communities, downtown and along canals and river on pathways and quiet streets, stopping at points of interest along the way. We will learn about the rich history of High River thru their downtown murals and see first hand how the Town has revitalized itself after devastation of the 2013 flood. Complexity : The ride will be mostly flat. Approximate distance 30 km.
Bring your Helmet, lunch, water, sunscreen, emergency info and bike/tire repair kit
If you are signed up and find you have to cancel, just put your FLC number in again and click "cancel sign up" . If the ride is cancelled you will receive an email notice by 8 am the day of the ride.The website will also show the ride as CANCELLED.
Driving Directions to High River Co-op
Drive south on highway 2 to the Vulcan [highway 23] interchange and head west into High River. You will be on 12 Ave. Travel about 2.5 km on 12 Ave to 1 St SE and the Co-op Grocery will be on your left. Park on the east side of the building,
