Cycling Ride

Sign-up is allowed on Thurs April 22 @ 8 am.

Ride will go north from Stanley Park along Elbow River to Lindsay Park; then across river north along new 2^nd Street bike way then east along 12^th Avenue bike way to Victoria Park; then across Elbow River into Ramsay area, meandering thru the neighbourhood to 12^th Street SE bike way and north to the Bow River; then east making a loop thru Pearce Estate across the Bow River at 17^th Avenue; then north and west along the north side of the river to the Bridgeland CTrain Station then north across the pedestrian bridge to Murdoch Park/1^st Ave SE/Starbucks for lunch. After lunch the ride will go back over CTrain Station, then west along Bow River to Prince’s Island pedestrian overpass, crossing over north into Sunnyside looping along the pathways and residential streets to the CTrain overpass and bridge, crossing south onto the Bow River pathway going east thru Prince’s Island to East Village. The last stretch is south on the 4^th St bikeway to 12^th Ave bike way then west to 2^nd St bikeway, then south to the Elbow River pathway back to Stanley Park.

The tour is essentially “flat” with no serious hills.

Arrive by 10:15 a.m. to have your bike ready and meet some of your fellow cyclists.  We will go over the covid rules and depart at 10:30.
