L2 Adhoc Ride. Departing Carburn Park at 10 AM, Plan is to ride along the canal north to Inglewood golf course then cross the canal to the Southview ridge where we stop and view the downtown and surrounding areas. Then across the new BRT overpass [for another great view] over the river and canal and into Pierce Estate for lunch and washrooms. Ride is 30 km and fairly flat. Please arrive by around 9:40 to get you bike ready and go over rules.
Driving Directions to Carburn, go east on Glenmore Trail to 18 ST SE, then turn right [south] to River Valley Drive. Turn right and drive to Riverview Drive. Turn left and go about 2 blocks and turn right into the parking lot. You may also park at the Southland dog park and ride across the pedestrian bridge. Carburn is about 1/2 km north of the bridge on the pathway.
