We will start at Confluence Park parking lot & pass Sandstone, Hidden Valley, Edgemont, the Hamptons, Sherwood, Kincora. 28 km+/- to get back to our vehicles. No road cycling. Major thoroughfare crossings will be via tunnels, overpasses or controlled intersections. Hills are easier than that coming out of Sandy Beach, for instance. Longer hills tend to be not too steep; steeper hills tend to be shorter. There is no toilet at the start of the ride (the Calgary Parks & Rec toilet building is closed as of October 15); the first potential pit stop is a Starbucks about half way along & a Tim Horton's about 3/4 of the way along near where we will stop for lunch.
Meet at 10:45 at the Confluence Park lot is at the NW Corner of Beddington Tr. & Beddington Blvd. intersection for an 11 am start. Easiest routes are up Deerfoot to the Beddington Trail exit or along Country Hills Blvd & then South on Beddington Tr.
