CYCLING TOUR of COCHRANE

No, we are NOT going to ride up Cochrane Hill!  But... we are going to discover Cochrane: parks, pathways along the Bow River, Cochrane Ranche Historic Site and Ranche House, old and new residential areas, Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre, ridge pathways with spectacular views of the town, river and mountains. Especially interesting will be a look at the new bridge across the Bow River, Jack Tennant Memorial Bridge (opening Fall 2020).  A stop for ice cream at MacKay's can definitely be arranged!!!  Flat pathways and gradual inclines. The pathway on a big hill and on a small hill has been perfectly designed for cyclists, with zigzags. Of course, walking up is an option.  Approximate distance is 35 km.  Speed 17-20 kph.
