Circumnavigate Nose Hill Park - 40 kms
Start location: Bottomlands Park, 7th Avenue and St. George's Drive NE (just north of TELUS Spark)
We'll cycle south and then west on the north side of the Bow to Edworthy Park where we'll have a pit stop. The route will head north through Montgomery, Varsity and Dalhousie to Edgemont where we'll probably pause for lunch in Edgemont Ravines Park. Then it's northeast through MacEwen Glen and Hidden Valley where we'll turn southward toward Country Hills and cycle the West Nose Creek pathway to the Nose Creek pathway that will lead us south back to the start.
As you might expect, there will be some inclines to deal with between Edworthy Park and Hidden Valley. Regular stops will be scheduled to see that the group stays together and everyone enjoys the ride.
Except for very brief stretches, virtually all of this ride is on dedicated pathways.

RIDERS:
Come prepared: bring your helmet, lunch, water, emergency information, sun glasses, sun screen, spare tires, tire pump, band-aids, and your smile. Be sure your bike is in good working order: bike bell, tires pumped, brakes and gears working, clean chain, mirror is a bonus.
Recheck the ride writeup after 8 am the day of the Ride for possible ride cancellations or other changes. If the ride is cancelled, email notifications are sent to all riders signed up for the Ride.
Bottomlands Park can be reached by traveling eastbound on 8th Avenue NE and turning, at 13A Street, onto 7th Avenue NE toward St. George's Drive. Alternatively, travel north on St. George's Drive past TELUS Spark to Bottomlands Park.
