This is a ride on the less challenging part of the popular Road To Nepal cycling route. Quiet roads with few cars. Lots of gentle sloping foothills make this ride fun descending without brakes and climbing without breaks. There are 4 long hills to ride up. After 22.5 Km we stop for a snack / lunch at Granary Road and a break before the last big hill.
Don't make the mistake I made of going into Millarville and thinking you will find it. The start point is well out of town at the racetrack / farmers market south of Highway 549 on 192 Street (watch for the sign) and east of Hwy 22. GPS coordinates 50.768654, -114.283165 Parking is $3. Market opens at 09:00. Lots of food trucks and vendors if you want a bite to eat or to shop.
Meet at Barn C (near the washrooms) behind the track grandstand at 9:45. Departure at 10:00 AM sharp. East on Highway 549, North on 112 Street. West on 226 Ave then angle SW to 192 Street and South to return to market / racetrack
