Out and back to the end of the pavement on Forestry Trunk Road (Hwy 40). Predominantly uphill going out (but very pleasantly downhill on the return), there is no hard shoulder but the road is lightly trafficked. I have not seen any toilets so we may have to get creative with bushes.
Magnificent scenery with wonderful views of the Rockies and plentiful wildlife.
Meeting Location: Park at the start of Hwy 40 on the 1A Hwy, about 13 kms west of Cochrane just beyond the Wildcat Hills gas plant
