Come join Laurie and Hazel for another Adventure.
We will start our ride at the Sobeys in Legacy heading North through Walden and crossing Macleod Trail at 194 Avenue. We will explore the new neighbourhoods of Creekstone, Hudson, Sirocco, Belmont and Yorkville before heading north to Silverado and Somerset. Cycling East down 194 Avenue we will meander through the smaller pathways and quiet streets in Lake Chaparral before heading back through Walden to Legacy. There are 8 water features where we can enjoy the birds and wild flowers. We will have lunch at the Somerset splash park. The ride will be approximately 40k.
We will be crossing a major intersection twice, Macleod Trail at 194 Avenue, there is a pathway and we cross at lights. After we cross Macleod we will be on pathways and quiet streets. No major hills but there are a few small ones.
Bring your Helmet, lunch, water, suntan lotion, camera, medical card and of course your smile.
If you are signed up and find you have to cancel, just put your FLC number in again and click "cancel sign up" . If the ride is cancelled you will receive an email notice by 8 a.m. the day of the ride. The website will also show the ride as CANCELLED.
