Departing at 10 AM from Carburn Park, we will head south and turn left through Riverbend to the Canal and go North to 50 Ave. From there to the bird sanctuary for washrooms. Total distance is approximately 20 km. Speed 15-20 kph. A slight long hill into Millican Estates. There will be street crossings and some street cycling.
Washrooms will be at Carburn Park and the Bird Sanctuary.
Arrive by 9:30 a.m. to have your bike ready and meet some of your fellow cyclists, to be ready to depart at 10.00.
Come prepared: bring your helmet, lunch, water, emergency information, sun glasses, sun screen, spare tires, tire pump, band-aids, and your smile. Be sure your bike is in good working order: bike bell, tires pumped, brakes and gears working, clean chain, mirror is a bonus.

To find Carburn Park;
From Deerfoot Tr SE take East Glenmore Trail SE exit and drive east to 18 St SE, turn right on 18 St SE, turn right (West) at Rivervalley Dr SE. Drive past Community Centre and school on left and turn left at the Carburn Park sign (Riverview Dr SE) and then turn right into Carburn Park Parking lot. (Washrooms)
