Starting at the Tuscany C-train station we ride South on the scenic West side of 12 Mile Coulee and then West along the Bow River escarpment for a nice view of the Bow Valley and the mountains. Down the hill to the Bow River valley where we proceed downstream. We skip the climb into Silver Springs to make the ride easier and stop for lunch at Edworthy Park. Climb up the Edworthy Park Hill. We continue South along the Greenway to Shannon Terrace and cross Fish Creek with a short but steep climb into Evergreen. Continue South to Bridlewood and then East to the Sommerset - Bridlewood station.
Please bring your helmet, mask (required on train), lunch and water, inner tube and tools to fix a flat or broken chain etc. If you need to cancel please go back to the ride signup and enter your member number again to cancel.
Directions: You can ride or drive to the most convenient Tuscany bound station on the Red Line to catch the train (it runs every 10 minutes) and then catch the train back to your starting point from the end of the ride (Sommerset - Bridlewood station). Check the train schedule depature time from your boarding point for an early arrival at Tuscany in the rare event that all 12 bicycle spots on the train are full and you need to take the next one.
