Ride Details

Ride distance is approximately 40 km.

PLEASE NOTE EARLY START TIME  OF 9AM (enough time to have an ice cream after the ride!)

We will ride around the outside of Cochrane covering most of the communities that make up the town.  Our route takes us through the downtown and then follows river paths to the River’s Edge area. We will then climb up to Riversong. Our route crosses Highway 22 to Fireside and then backroads to Jumping Pound Ridge and Bow Ridge. We will then explore the west of Cochrane before following the trail through Glenbow and back to our cars.

Our route is mainly on paved paths but also includes a number of short steep climbs, gravel, back roads and hard packed trails.

There are a couple of spots to consider for lunch and will make that call during the ride.

Remember your helmet, water, emergency information, sun glasses, sun screen, spare tube, pump and lunch.
