See the Rocky Mountains from a new perspective while touring beautiful Lake Minnewanka on a panoramic 1-hour afternoon cruise on the largest lake in Banff, Take in breathtaking mountains and emerald-green water as you keep a watchful eye on forested slopes and rocky shorelines for wildlife and waterfalls. An experienced captain will provide informative and entertaining commentary on the history, geology, animals, park policy and native involvement throughout the journey.
Our bus trip to Banff National Park will begin with a stop at Banff town site where you will have an hour to stroll the main street, browse the shops, or just get an ice cream and people watch. Then we go to Lake Minnewanka for a picnic lunch of subs, cold beverages, fruit and dessert. . This site is considered the number one picnic spot in the park with fantastic views of the famous lake and surrounding mountains.
Then in the late afternoon, we will get on board for our scenic boat ride along the shores of the lake.
