The Theatre Calgary program involves attending a special Saturday afternoon Seniors Matinee at the downtown Max Bell Theatre. While the Club does not provide transportation to these plays, there is easy access via the LRT as well as always plenty of parking spaces available within walking distance from the theatre. By booking through our Club, members benefit from the group rate for some of the best seats in the House and includes a reception exclusively for our seniors.

February 18th - ENRON

The Canadian premier combining multimedia, vaudevillian comedy and classical tragedy, we will see how something can be worth millions in the morning and nothing by the afternoon. This play was a smash hit in London but somehow bombed in New York . One wonders why.

March 17th

SHIRLEY VALENTINE Nicola Cavendish , who magnificently played

that role twenty yearsago, revives this amusing play with a new understanding of this wonderful housewife who found it was never too late to live the life of your dreams.

April 28th

CATS Will be the grand finale of the season. Many of us may have seen this musical when it toured across North America in the 80s, but this will be different. This will be the first made in Alberta production of famous musical. We are being promised to see the theatre transformed into a gigantic back alley of feline proportion.

That will be one show you will not want to miss.

Note: Tickets for all these plays can be ordered anytime but no later than three weeks prior to the date of the play. After that we cannot guarantee that seats will still be available.
